Shipping Policy
Shipping and Risk of Loss
We only use shipping services at our discretion.
We only ship our products overnight, leaving our facility Monday through Thursday, except whereas noted or on days subject to holiday or special occasion hours. Any products ordered on Friday through Sunday will not ship until the following Monday (or non-holiday weekday, where applicable).
Unless otherwise indicated at the time of your purchase, shipping and handling fees are included with your order. Shipping dates and/or arrival times are only estimates. For loss/damage claims, you must notify Boston Lobster Company within 30 days of the date of your purchase if you believe all or part of your order is missing or damaged.
Replacement of Products and credits to your account for shipped merchandise claimed as not received are subject to our investigation, which may include postal-service notification. We will adjust your account at our discretion. Repeated claims of undelivered merchandise may result in the denial of your patronization.
Shipping Rates
By purchasing any product and/or gift card in our online store, you agree to pay the full amount plus any applicable taxes and/or shipping for the products that will be supplied.
Products are shipped in pre-determined quantities. The minimum quantity to be sold and shipped is 1 of the following weight increment of the following respective products:
- Live lobster is sold and shipped in 25lb increments;
- Frozen lobster is sold and shipped in 12lb increments;
- Lobster tail is sold and shipped 10 lb increments;
- Fresh lobster is sold and shipped in 2lb increments;
Problems with Product(s)
If a Product is defective, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt of the Product, or the time that the Product should’ve been received. At our discretion, we will send you a new item or credit your account. To report an issue, please contact us at info@bostonlobstercompany.com or call 1.617.464.1500. Refunds are at the sole discretion of Boston Lobster Company.
Shipping, return and exchange of any products delivered by us in connection with your purchase are subject to the Boston Lobster Company Shipping, Return and Exchange Policy.
Pricing
Pricing and availability of product(s) and/or shipping rates are subject to frequent change. Quantity or weight increments are subject to change at our discretion.
